Hell...the bad news

Job 26:6

Hell is naked before Him, and destruction hath no covering.

Matthew 10:28

And fear not them that kill the body; but are not able to kill the soul; but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

2 Peter 2:4

For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness to be reserved unto judgment.

Isaiah 5:14

Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure; and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.

Rev 20:13

And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them; and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Psalm 86:13

For great is thy mercy toward me; and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell.

Matthew 25:46

And these shall go away into everlasting punishment; but the righteous into life eternal.

Hell and destruction are before the Lord; how much more then the hearts of the children of men?

Proverbs 27:20

Hell an destruction are never full, so the eyes of man are never satisfied.

Mark 9:44

Where the worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. And if they foot offend thee, cut it off; it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched. Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

Matthew 8:12

But the children of the kingdom shall be cast into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Matthew 13:42

And shall cast them into a furnace of fire; there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.


Salvation thru Jesus Christ; the good news

Proverbs 27:1

Boast not thyself for tomorrow, for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth....

2 Corinthians 6:2

For He has said, i have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succored thee; behold, now is the accepted time; behold now is the day of salvation.....

Ephesians 2:8-8

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God; ;not of works lest any man should boast.

Titus 3:5

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.

We can see plainly by these scriptures, the bad news, there is a hell. It is not a happy place and we are all destined to go there. But then we can see plainly by the salvation scriptures, there is a way out. God has put His plan to work for us, salvation through His son. That is the good news. So dont let the bad news make you give up hope, it doesnt have to be bad news for you. Even if you feel unredeemable right now in the midst of sin, God can save the worst of us, and use us still for His purposes. Just say sincerely this sinners prayer......

And I believe that on the third day you rose into heaven to prepare a place for me. I accept you now as my Savior, my Lord, my God, my friend.
