Sanctify them through thy truth; thy word is truth.

1.Sanctify means to declare something holy; what does this say will sanctify us?

2. And what is truth?

Heaven and earth shall pass away but my words shall not pass away.

1.What things shall pass away before Gods word will ever pass away?

2.Shall anything ever be able to destroy Gods word?

3.If the church building was to burn down, Gods word would resurrect itself before the pillars were reinstalled, I heard one preacher say, that is how powerful Gods word is , and this scripture proves just how serious He is about it. Even a nuclear explosion and devastation would not destroy His word, He would return it unto us, and all the promises are still ours even in waste and ruin. His word is alive and nothing can destroy it or take it from us. Heaven and earth have been ordained forever, but we can see here that the word is ordained to last even longer than that. We can see then, that sooner will the earth and heaven pass away than His word, and they are ordained forever!! Get it??

It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing; the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit and they are life.

1.What does the flesh do for us?

2.What quickens us or gives us life?

3.What does God say is spirit and life?

4.May we conclude that the words God speaks to us will make us alive, and it is because they themselves are alive? God speaks to us through His written word and through rhema words to our spirits.

5.Is the bible a living thing?

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth; it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

1.What shall Gods word accomplish?

2.It is sent forth to do a job, think about it.

3.It shall not return to God empty,it will now live in our hearts and in our remembrance, and so it lives!!!!

Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

1.How was the universe made?

2.Was it made by anything that was seen by our eyes?

3.How powerful is the spoken word of God to create a universe?

4.How powerful is the spoken word of God in our lives ?

5.He can create new things in our lives simply by speaking them into existence.

And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come.

1.How is it that we can taste the word of God?

2.As we spend more and more time in it, we partake of God himself, and taste and see that He is good. We can taste it by faith, in the spirit, and we can only taste those things that have life in them. If you feel far away from Him, partake of His word more and more, and you will find He will meet you there, and He is the word. Do it by faith and taste His goodness. The word is alive that is why we can taste it!!!!!

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

1.Where does God want the word of Christ to dwell?

2.What quality of life will it have within us?

3.What does God want us to do with the word ?

4.Since the word is alive, what effect will it have on our brothers and sisters in the Lord as we share, admonish and teach one another?

We can see from this study that Gods word is alive and powerful. So powerful it created the universes.How much more will it speak life to us as we daily immerse ourselves in it. It is alive forever more inside of us!!!!
