The Scar

Oh but I've got some news for you! You are not alone with this wound that you have...there are two others who know all about it. Yes one of them is the must realize this! He is the one who has been picking at that scar all these years...not you!! But there is someone else who knows about that wound you carry...someone who was there when it happened! Who saw what happened to you...who, in fact, felt every pain with you and cried every tear with you... and suffered every lonely night of depression and fear and anger and torment that you went through.. right there at your side...Jesus was with you! He knows your pain! He knows your problem, the hurt , the anguish that you have suffered.. the trials you have went through, the long road you have suffered... He felt every pain you have, and knows it intimately and cried for His creation, His child's suffering!

Isaiah 53:5... "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; ....."

Jesus was wounded for you! He was bruised for your iniquities! One of the definitions of iniquity is "a gross wickedness or immoral act" No matter how wicked the act was, no matter how immoral, no matter how hurtful, Jesus was there! He has covered you! He was bruised for those iniquities! Now here is the definition of bruised...

1.a. To injure the underlying soft tissue or bone of (part of the body) without breaking the skin, as by a blow. b. To damage, as by abrasion or pressure.

2. To dent or mar.

3. To hurt, especially psychologically. 1. To experience or undergo bruising.

----bruise n. 1. An injury to underlying tissues or bone in which the skin is not broken, often characterized by ruptured blood vessels and discolorations.

4. An injury, especially to one's feelings.

Jesus bled inside for you! Inside! Under His skin, exactly where you were hurt, and in exactly the way that you were hurt! His feelings were hurt! He was hurt psychologically as well as physically! For you!

Now here is the definition of "chastisement"...

1. To punish, as by beating.

2. To criticize severely; rebuke.

So we could restate that part of the scripture "the chastisement of our peace was upon Him" in this way... "He took it upon Himself when our peace was beaten" or "He took it upon Himself when our peace was criticized"

When you were beaten--Jesus took it upon Himself! When you were criticized---Jesus took it upon Himself! You were not alone in your suffering--Jesus Christ, the burden lifting, yoke destroying one of God was with you, and took your pain upon Himself fully. In every way and context that you suffered, He did too!! But now let's back up to that scripture again....because there are a few more words to it...some very important words that you must receive if you are to be set free from your wounds....

Isaiah 53:5 "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him;... and with his stripes we are healed."

Yes, Jesus has suffered all with you...but with His stripes you are healed!! Jesus suffered upon the cross and lived a life as a man suffering all the same difficulties we have..!

Hebrews 4:15 "For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin."

Jesus was "touched with the feeling of our infirmities" He suffered everything you have...for one heal you! By His suffering you are healed! By His shed blood and by the bruises He suffered you are healed! He did this because He loves you, He wants you to be whole! Jesus Christ desires to heal you! It is His greatest desire to see you set free from the bondages of the finally remove that scar you have carried with you for all these years. Trust Him! Get into Him! Ask Him to heal you right now! We are praying with you right now in agreement that you shall receive your healing right now in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ! Believe it and receive your healing now by the power of His shed blood and the bruises He suffered for you. Jesus bled inside for your healing inside. His heart burst upon the cross for your broken heart!

....check yourself now...look to see if that wound is still there...look and you will see that Jesus has healed you!
