 There is an
idea in the world that "God lives inside all of us"....we all
have "divinity", a "oneness", a "connection"
with God. There is a universal oneness and God lives within all of us.
Well, I have a question. If God "lives inside" all of us....................Why
do people kill one another? Why do people steal, rob, rape and abuse one
another? Why are people destroying the planet for their own benefit? Why
is there war, poverty, greed, inequity, prejudice, hatred and violence? |
How could "God inside all of us" be responsible for such
a violent, hateful cruel world? The Bible, (God's word), has a different,
and much more realistic and relevant explanation of the condition of the
world.......The Bible says that we are all born with sin. Sin, separates
us from God. By our own free will we have rebelled against God and chosen
sin as our lifestyle. And, the fruit of sin, is crime, violence, inequity,
greed. This explains the true state of our world. But
God has provided a way for us to be cleansed of sin.....Jesus Christ! He
shed His blood on the cross for the "forgiveness of sin." Through
Jesus we can have complete fellowship with God! We can be born again and
the Holy Spirit will dwell inside us. Jesus is the Way! |
